Nat Polish, Ph.D. has been designing computer software and hardware products and systems since 1981, and RFID products and systems since 1988.
His RFID work includes tag and reader products, communication design, code protocol design, special system implementations and patent analysis. He has served as a testifying expert witness in patent litigation.
Dr. Polish and Mike Beigel worked together in Antarctica developing RFID "weighbridge" stations for scientific research on penguins and their environment. These systems have functioned well for nearly 10 years in a harsh environment with minimal maintainance.
Dr. Polish's expertise spans the whole range of computer system and software design, from 8 bit microprocessor embedded systems to large-scale distributed systems, real-time internet database and communications. He has performed technology assessment, business analysis, patent consulting, and business development projects, in addition to his product design work.
He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University (Speech synthesis and analysis), and has patents in the field of RFID systems.
