Isidor Straus has been involved in regulatory aspects and compliance of engineering since 1976.
He provides RFID-related services to BTC clients in the areas of regulatory compliance; electromagnetics; product immunity and safety design; and general product design. Additionally his independent company Curtis -Straus LLC can provide all testing, engineering advice and equipment certification worldwide for RFID components and systems.
He is a co-founder of Curtis Straus LLC, and manages the Electromagnetic Compatibility and Telecommunications laboratories. He is knowledgeable in international and domestic regulatory requirements, and has served on the ANSI C63 Committee in the development of measurement standards. He is also a managing editor of the well known CONFORMITY compliance engineering magazine.
Mr. Straus is a graduate of MIT (B.S. Electrical Engineering), Boston College (M.S. Finance), and is a registered Professional Engineer.
